This project experiments with the juxtaposition of place and personal emotion by blending scattered geographical references of 'Aziz Kandi' villages with raw, emotional moments from Jen Shah’s reunion after prison. The zine collects fragmented, poetic text snippets and abstracted, almost cryptic maps to evoke displacement, fragmented identity, and the bittersweetness of homecomings. Emerging from the cold, factual nature of place names contrasted with the intense human vulnerability in reunion, it explores how physical locations and emotional states intersect in small but profound ways.
