This zine experiments with the tension between oppressive power and courageous resistance, inspired by the raw sovereignty expressed in Belli's sonnet and the real-world consequences of dissent as seen in Narges Mohammadi's arrest. Using fragmented, overlapping texts in dialect and different languages, it creates a whispered dialogue between historical autocracy and contemporary human rights struggles. The tactile, folded form disrupts smooth reading, symbolizing the fractured voices under authoritarian regimes. This minor project offers an intimate, playful but poignant artifact reflecting the persistence of both disdainful rulers and resilient protest.
