This project is a folded pamphlet that juxtaposes the serene, scarcely known settlement of Briše with the chaotic, destructive floods in Washington state. Through playful, slightly surreal cartographic fragments and evocative textual snippets, it explores themes of impermanence, displacement, and overlooked geographies. The pamphlet invites readers to contemplate how places both small and distant become swept away or erased, creating an uncanny connection between quiet stability and sudden upheaval. Rooted in the contrast between a tranquil Slovenian village and urgent natural disaster news, it plays with the tension of place and loss on a micro scale.
