This experimental zine juxtaposes the 17th-century naval Battle of Køge Bay with the contemporary heated rivalry of an LGBTQ+ ice hockey drama, blending historical and modern conflict through playful, slightly surreal narrative fragments and visuals. The project explores themes of rivalry, strategy, and alliance across drastically different eras and settings, while highlighting underrepresented stories of tension and identity. By combining these two far-apart battles—one literal naval war and one symbolic emotional/competitive ice hockey drama—the zine creates a minor, odd dialogue inviting reflection on how human conflicts repeat and transform over time.
