This project experiments with the collision of ancient cultural artifacts and contemporary intellectual property dilemmas by juxtaposing abstracted motifs from the Yuantaizi Tomb murals with fragmented, glitch-like textual overlays referencing the AI plagiarism controversy involving Disney and OpenAI. The pamphlet plays with visual dissonance and disrupted narrative flow to evoke the tension between preserved history and the chaotic remix culture fueled by AI technologies. It emerged from the contrast between the enduring, handcrafted cultural heritage of the tomb and the modern-day anxieties surrounding automated replication and creative ownership.
